Description

Blackstone’s at 399 Clarissa Street was part of a two-story building with two storefronts. The building was a wooden frame structure and had a non-combustible tile or metal roof.  

Detailed History

Most of the streets in this area have since been renamed, and addresses renumbered. The land where Blackstone’s stood is now vacant and adjacent to the Mt. Oliviet Baptist Church (141 Adams Street).
