Name listed in 1930 Hackley and Harrison's Guide for Colored Travelers. Charles Timberlake (1873-1950) was a janitor at the courthouse; he was listed here in the 1920-1940 censuses with his wife Lizzie who worked as a seamstress, a daughter, and a boarder. All occupants were black.
