Description
A three bay, two-story commercial building with a side entrance. In the first bay next to the entrance, there was a large fixed pane shop window, and a second double hung sash window with nine over nine lights. The upper floor had three double hung sash windows.
Detailed History
Roger Smith was the proprietor of the Crescent Lunch. Although listed as a restaurant, it was also a bar. Smith was a member of the Frederick Chapter of Frontiers of America, an African-American Civil Rights group.
