On the 1951 Sanborn Map, this address is depicted as a house. Research could not confirm the business name of Dirk's in city directories for the years listed in the Green Book. The 1950 and 1952 city directories listed a Dick's Service Station at 1400 S 8th (Richard E Anderson, also listed in 1948 directory at this address) and one at 2959 Central (Richard Schreyer, listed in 1948 directory at 2949 Central). No Dick's service stations are listed in the 1955 city directory.
However, this was the home address of Emil Dobbelmann, Jr., who was the manager of Dick's Mobil Service at 3800 3rd Ave S, in the early 1950s when this address was listed in the Green Book as Dirk's. The 3800 3rd Ave S location was previously listed in the Green Book from 1948-1950.
