Eddie’s, located at the border between Asbury Park and Neptune, appears, from the 1930 Sanborn insurance map, to have been a small frame building set far back from the street. The address today is an empty lot.

Detailed History
Eddie’s, listed in The Green Book in 1941 and 1946, most likely was Eddie’s Confectionary, listed as at 1505 Springwood Avenue in Asbury Park in Polk’s Asbury Park City Directory in 1945 and 1950. This shop was operated by Edward J. Ramus, about whom little is currently known.
