Grigg's Imperial Restaurant was part of a vibrant African American neighborhood in Princeton now commemorated by the Witherspoon-Jackson Historic District. The site was listed in Princeton from 1939-1941 and then in error in Pine Brook from 1947 through 1953. Alas, Grigg's restaurant is no longer standing but a plaque commemorates the business's notation in the Green Book.
