Description
9 and 17 Cornell Street, according to the Sanborn Map from 1899-1950, constituted a two-story, brick building with steel trusses and concrete floors. The building had a three-foot brick apron wall with steel sash and sat on brick piers. The building was a clothing manufacturing building. 19 Cornell Street was labeled as the restauarant. It was a one-story frame building clad in asbestos with an ell to the rear. Currently, this block of Cornell Street includes the two-story building at 9 Cornell Street and a one-story building with a brick facade and cornice extending to the north.
