Description
Kelly's stood at the southwest corner of County and Effingham, in the center of an African American community. An ad in the 1960 issue of the Green Book depicts a one-story, flat roofed, possibly brick structure. Ironically, this image also shows a church steeple in the background. The site now serves as the parking lot for the Ebenezer Baptist Church at 728 Effingham.
