Description
The Clinton Street location was a two-story building on the corner of Clinton and Walnut Street, facing south on Clinton Street. It had a one-story porch on the street-facing side. Both had shingles for roofing. Currently, the Ellicott District owns the land 311 William Street used to be on, and was purchased by them in 1964. These apartments and housings were built in the 1990s during Urban Renewal campaigns lead by the City of Buffalo.
The Bond Street location was situated at the corner of Bond and Howard Street, facing west onto Bond Street. It was a three-part building, orientated west to east. The main block was a two-story, wooden frame building. An extension to the east was one-and-a-half-stories. To the south, there was a one-story addition. Each had composition roofing. Currently, new housing are on the land 229 Bond Street was on, facing north towards Howard Street.

Ethel B. Middleton operated a beauty parlor from 311 William Street until moving to 229 Bond Street in 1953 or 1954.
