Description
The hotel consists of three highrise towers with a golf course on Hilo Bay.
Detailed History
The Naniloa Hotel is now called the Grand Naniloa Hotel and it is a part of the Hilton chain of hotels. Originally constructed in 1939, the hotel has three towers, the Mauna Kea, the Mauna Lean and Kilauea. Like other hotels near Hilo Bay, the hotel is subject to sea-level rise and the buildings are subject to a leasehold by the Hawaiian government.
