Description
This entire block, between Armistead and Franklin, is vacant or parking - except for the Queen Street Baptist Church at 190 West Queen.
According to the 1955 Sanborn Fire Insurance Map of Hampton, 154 (W) Queen was a two-story brick "Hall" and restaurant with a slate or tin roof. It was attached to 150 W. Queen, a store. Lee Alley ran along the west side of the building. To the east of 150 and 154, stood a hotel (colored) which was above a store and a restaurant. To the east of that hotel was the "Pilasters Vaudeville & Moving Pictures (colored)."
