Description
The Rocket Motel consists of a gable roofed, wood-framed office building with large glass windows. This structure is located at the southwest corner of a U-shape of wood-frame room units arranged around a central parking lot. A tall, free-standing metal sign outside the office has a horizontal piece with "ROCKET" appearing in neon italic letters, a vertical piece with "MOTEL" on it, and a connecting diagonal piece with light bulbs around it. According to historic postcards for "Rocket Court," the glass enclosed part of the office and the current sign are not original and were added before 1958.

According to the current business' website, Rocket Court was built in 1950. It is still in operation as the Rocket Motel.
