The tavern is listed in the 1947 City Directory as the Williams Brothers Restaurant at 821 South 8th Street, which is either the building labeled REST on the 1951 Sanborn map at 823 South 8th Street, or the smaller structure on its northern wall at 821 South 8th Street, In either case, the building is still extant. —Andrew S.
