Eagle service station This business is listed in the 1947 Green Book without an address, but is likely the Eagle Taxi listed in 1947 City Directory at 313 Albemarle Avenue, Greenville. This is the only commercial enterpise listed in the directory with a name of Eagle, and the 1946 Sanborn map of this location confirms that a filling station – as well as an auto repair shop, and a storage facility for trucks – occupied the site.
