Detailed History
It appears in newspapers as early as 1929. It was owned and operated by Blanche Hunter. It consisted of a group of 10 log cabins and was also known as Winn-Tee-Pee Lodge. It was sold in 1964 and demolished to build a new luxury motel. Currently, there is a gas station on the site. There is a hotel to the east and a hotel to the north.
