Description
The structure at 1718 Springwood Avenue in Neptune, depicted as a rectangular concrete block structure with a front porch on the 1930 Sanborn map, was destroyed by fire in 1950. The building apparently was rebuilt in concrete block on the same footprint, as the Hampton Inn continued to function at that address. The building that stood until ca. 2020 on the corner of Drummond and Springwood Avenue, now called West Lake, possibly incorporated that structure.
