Well Dear I again seat my self to write you a gain I wrote to you yesterday and started it by mail and have the chance to send you one by hand to day so I again write so you can hear from me Dear I am well and I hope when this comes to hand it will find you well Dear it was a great pleasure to me to hear that you was well Dear I want to see you so bad though I cant tell when that time will come though I hope soon Dear Lieutenant Schremper / has got a furlow and will start to morrow morning so I send this by him you can send me one by him when he comes back Dear send me some socks if you pleas Dear I have bin a visiting to day and have just come back I have bin to see Henry Jones and Will Armbrester and all of them boys Will ses that I must tell you that he is well and as funny as ever and that you must write to him The boys is all fine George Jebb Will Derricks is with Bill and Henry and are well Henry is fat
Well Dear as I wrote yesterday I have no nuse to write to you so you must not loock for a long letter there is nothing in camp that will interest you and I cant get out to get any my Dear I saw a man from Texes and ses that George belongs to his Comp and it is here he ses that George was left on Red River sick though he herd from him the other day and that he was able to come to the company so I hope it will not be long until I see him Dear I will be glad to see him I will write to / you when he comes and let you hear from him Dear I got your letter dated the 14th of Feb and I hope that you have wrote since and wont be long till I can see you again. Dear tell Pa houdy and that he must write to me and tell Lot and Lemmy houdy and they must write to me Dear Jim Teague is behind with some baggage tell George and all houdy and to write to me I have neaver got but one letter from them yet tell them to write Dear write soon Love Lewis
