Elizabeth Caroline Lewis
Elizabeth Caroline Lewis (maiden name: Derrick) was born in August 1828 near Maysville, Alabama. She married Levi Lewis on November 27, 1856, and the couple apparently had no children. They lived in Madison County, Alabama, and her husband worked as a farmer. By 1870, they owned $1,000 of real estate and $450 of personal property. Her husband died in November 1908, and by 1910, she was living with a nephew in Maysville. She died there on October 12, 1916.
