Kind Aunt and Couisin
as Cy was writing I thought that I would write a few lines but Cy has given you all the news so I will not have mutch to write only that I am well and in fine spirits. We havent mutch to do but to eat and sleep but we dont know how long we will git to stay here but if we do git to stay here one month longer I think we will git furloughs and then we can tell you all of the newes better than write but I hope the time may soon come when this miserable war shall come to a close and then we can come to stay oh what a glorious day that will be no more this time but remain as ever your Couisin Granville
