it is with the greatest of pleasure that I seat my to inform you how I git along by this I am well at presant hopeing when this comes to hand it may find you injoying this same great blesing I received your kind and welcomed letter and was glad to here from you and to here that you was well Beckey I havent got mutch to write this time of any importance you said in your letter that you didant know whether to write to me / or knot becose I had wrote to you that was a mistake I have wrote to you and got kno ansuer I thought that you wasent agoing to write to me if you didant git are letter from me it wasent becase that I didant write to you Beckey you stated in you letter that sis had took that lightness of mine from you you wanted to know whether I told her to take it or knot I dont know whether I did or knot you must knot think hard of me for that if I was where I could git it taken I would send you an other one if I knoued / whether you wanted it or knot you didant say whether you wanted it or knot Beckey you said that Mary goss was in your naborhood you loud that I wanted to write to her knot until she ansuers the letter that I wote to her if you see her tel her that I think that she might ansuer the letter that I wrote to her Beckey we have just came in from Battalion drill we have drill twist aday I believe I have wrote all for this time it may be that I will git a furlough before long / and come home and see you all I want you to write to me as soon as you git this if you pleas
