Deare Sone I again take oppertunity of droping you afew lines to let you no that wer all well at this time hoping these few lines may find you well we got your letter and was glad to hear from you and to here that you was well i would like to see you the best in the world i got a letter from obys Nancy the other day they was all down sick but her and luezer she said she had rote you 4 leters and had got no answer bery is working with ruth whitler her and bery kild a fox last fridy catch it her dog i got a letter Jack he said thay was all well he said that he got a letter from James the day before he rote and he was well when he rote he did not tell me wher James was i hant got no letter from sely since you was at [torn] your pap is a thrashing ots for dicy whitaker & dicy got that letter you rote hur [?] Whitaker has bin / down with the scarlet fever and lutile was and sidney has had it to ther has bin severel children dide with it I want to no if father you have quit having chills or not matty ses tell you that wee have planted potatos [?] ses tell you he has amost all the planting to doo I want you to rite soon and often so nothing more at present I remain as ever
