today wee were agoing to have inspection but did not succeed J Bailey & J Mcfadden came over and Cal Myers and I went over with them Cal went to Elexandria
Friday 2.
Cal & I stayed with Bailey & Mc all night and had a turkey roast mashed potatoes cold slaw and old rye for dinner wee had plenty of fun all day
Saturday 3.
this is a beautiful day to day I got my certificate from Philadelphia to get my pay Bailey got his from New York at the same time

this morning I went over to the ceminary hospital to see Friend Scott I came back by the Stragler Camp and wee had mush and milk for dinner

to day wee were agoing to go to Washington City but the inspection spoilt the fun so wee could not go

to day R. B. Alexander got his papers I wass moved over to the other camp Bob went to washington City I went in the tent with Bailey and Mcfadden now wee are all right

this morning I left the 45 Reg and came to Bell Plains and the Reg had left. the army is leaving for some where. Geo Brown and I are in the Comisary all alone Pleasant I see Jacob Young

Rainy and verry disagreeable George Brown and I are still keeping house wee expect the Division back this evning the 8 Reg had 2 horses stolen last night today wee had a game of eucher with 2 carlisle boys
