To day we are lying quietly in camp name of which is Winder—10 miles east of Fredricksburg Caroline County Va this is a very pleasent camp we have spent the day in cleaning it up

this morning I was put in ambulance and moved to rear 6 miles west of Gettysburg our Hospittle is in a barn we left that Hospittle that nite traveled all nite

We are still travling we crosed the South Mountan to day it was a very rough rode & I suffered a grate deald from the jostling we camped close to Wainsborough Penna

We are still going southward we pased thrugh Wainsborough Penn & Harrisburg MD and on to Hagerstown and found the Yanks had possesion and we ware ordered back to camp
