I reseved them presants that was in the box that worck bag is nice and I am very pleased with it Mat dont you thinck that Ellen parker is a fool or not I do and a darn fool to but dont tell her of it how does her folks feal a bout it Mother what did arn seam to thinck about the 1st Mass H A what did he say about me did he seam to thinck that I was smart and tough I thought that he loocked pretty well to git his dis Charg but he neads it well / Carr was over to the sitty but did not comb over to see me and I dont Care for that I cant wright any more now

they say that we ar a going to git paid this month if we dont we shant for 2 months and all of the boys ar mad for we hav not got any money
if you will send me some stamps this is my last one that I hav got and not a sent to by one with poor boy without a sent and dont cair much when it does come it will be good
this letter I commenced the 15 and now it is / the 28 I did not hav a stamp nor a sent and they said that they was a going to pay soon evry day but haint paid yet and so I thought that I would finish it I will wright as soon as they pay if it is this week and send you some money
