Dear wife I wonse more take my pen to inform you that I am wel I received your letter dated June the won week a go last wensday I will asure you I am not homesick what is the use of being sick with a diseas that aman has not got in this world albeit I must confess that I feel a little lonesome when it coms saterday nite after working all the weke and no other place tha uncles to make my resort all tho as good as can be found excepting a home I am a laying brick and stone I have won dollar per day and board rather small wages but if I stay in this cuntry and work out it is [faded] form the man I am at work with a furst rate work man I am well my health has not bin better for five years thu this sumer Ive received a letter from uncle heath and wants / me to com there I shall go if I run short for work hear to sute me but time is money and that is what I want I do not know but I shal take a small farm for the boys and work out my self tel sisey that farther was very glad of that lock of hair but should he rather seen it on her head you must excus this time for I have to rite considerable yeat to day I have not received Maryes letter yeat give a farthers love to all of the children and a husbands to yourself and respects to all friends

You need not think strange if you see me in Vermont before [faded] not on my one acount but Allen has spells of being a little out and wants to come to Vermont but dos not want to alone as he had some bad luck coming out here
