            Dear Father and Mother
            Just a few lines
 
We are doing nicely have not got settled yet the goods came Saturday morn got too beds and the stove set up Saturday night and that was all but the folks gave us food enough so I did not have to bake untill today Lill says she has not been home sick one bit yet I do not think she will be she got a letter from Jimmie / tonight I expected she would cry but she has not cried yet but I was most discouraged when I got there and the goods was not here
 
            Father Will wants you to go to Mr Kerick the four Man of the Granet Works and give him this note that you will find it is for that felt and he wants him to send it as soon as possible
 
and if they have not got it for you to write just as soon as you get this 
 
Lilla says did you get her card if so to answer it or she wont write again she says she has got a boss room and she thinks our house is just splendid Well I guess this will do for tonight Write soon from Lill Else and Will with love
