Zachariah H. Whitemore
Zachariah H. Whitemore was born around 1810 in Maryland. He married Elizabeth Davidson in Washington, D.C., on July 8, 1833. Whitemore worked as a Methodist minister, and he moved to Memphis, Tennessee, sometime before 1855. By 1860, he owned $30,000 of real estate and $1,000 of personal property. He remained Memphis for the next several decades, and he died sometime after 1880.
