Elizabeth Margaret Durfee
Elizabeth Margaret Durfee (maiden name: Evans) was born around 1832 in Boston, Massachusetts. She probably grew up in Boston, and she married George W. Sperry on October 6, 1850. Their daughter Georgiana was born around 1852. Her husband died in the early 1850s, and she married William H. Durfee around 1854. They had at least three children: George, born around 1856; Lionel, born around 1861; and Emma, born around 1866. They lived in Holliston, Massachusetts, and her husband worked as a bootmaker. Her husband died on February 20, 1904. She applied for a widow’s pension in May 1904 and eventually received one. She died sometime after 1910.
