Dear Lizzie
We have nothing of much interest today. The Yankees landed this morning at 10 oclk at Galveston but have done nothing yet, except firing a few shells at some of our boys who went over and killed a lot of beeves to keep the Yankees from getting them. Some thing may be done to night I will write again tomorrow.
