John H. Trites
John H. Trites was born on May 25, 1820, in Ridley, Pennsylvania, to William Trites and Lydia Trainor. He married Mary Pyewell, and their daughter Hannah was born around 1847. The family lived in Upper Merion, Pennsylvania, and Trites worked as a merchant. By 1860, he was working as a storekeeper, and he owned $4,000 of real estate and $500 of personal property. The family moved to Bridgeport, Pennsylvania, sometime in the 1860s, and his wife Mary died on December 12, 1867. He became a local postmaster in June 1885, and he died in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, around 1895.
