Nancy G. Herbert
Nancy G. Herbert (maiden name: Coller) was born around 1817. She married Thomas Herbert on December 25, 1843, and they lived in Lynn, Massachusetts. Her husband worked as a merchant and book dealer. In February 1844, she wrote that she had “become quite accustomed to married life and feel very happy in my new station.” She was devoutly religious, and she celebrated New England as a “Land of Gospel privileges.” She died in childbirth in Lynn on August 5, 1845.
