Sir My Son J. C. Barton enlisted in the 23rd O.V.I. early in the spring of 1861 and served until Nov 3rd 1863 when he enlisted in the Veteran Core. was detailed to recruit in Wadsworth Township Medina Co which place was his residence. He returned to his Rgt when ordered and fell at Cloyd Mountain, Va. May 14th 1864.
Now my wish is to know if he was counted to Wadsworths quota in the draft. if not where was he counted.
