John W. Clement to Charles Grant, 10 August 1861
Concord Aug. 10, 61
We are all in camp and getting along pretty well considering everything—Tell Father to send me a towel and I want you to send me a bar of Stearn's Soap and a knot of black linen thread
I believe that is all I want at present
I shall probably come home in the course of a fortnight
Yours &c
John W Clement
