Dear Sister
as i have a fiew spare moments i thought i could not improve my time in a better way than answering your letter i was very sory to hear ove your being sick but i hope by the time you receive this letter that you may be well a gain i received your letter and mothers at the same time i see by your letter that the veterans are taking them selves a wife before they regoin the army a gain i dont blame the soldiers but i do think the young ladies are very foolish to marry a man and him starting back to the army for three years i see in mothers letter that anie sobers manda and H Hawk and Ban and you had a / good time not long a go if anie is as good loocking now as she used to be i wouldent mind spending an evening with her my self but i wouldent mention this for as most ove the people at home are down on soldiers this may not be the case their but dont mention it as i am puting this in gest to fill the letter alie i would like to be their a while to see how things loocks but if i keep my health and nothing happens i will be their in six months and to stay a fiew days if not longer you say you saw Mag Ansburne and she said she wrote me a letter i never received any from her as i would ove answered it mag was a very nice girl when i saw her last please let me know in your next letter how Hen Hawks eye is getting but i supose he is getting better sense the draft as i have nothing ove any importance to write i will close before i close i received a letter from Kate Kennedy and they are all well and she received / your letter tell lidea i will write to her in a very fiew days i would ove written to day but i have not time this leaves me well hoping it may find you the same write soon on all the perticulars
