Charles Schlimmer
Charles Schlimmer was born around 1836. By the early 1860s, he was probably living in New York. He enlisted in the Union army on November 2, 1861, and he mustered in as a private in Company C of the Independent Battalion of New York Volunteer Infantry. He drowned at Morehead City, North Carolina, on January 20, 1863.
