Dear Sister
           I have recieved two letters from you since I have writen to you. The reason I have not answered them is because I thought I was going to leave hear when I come away from the hospital and I onley had time to write one letter so I wrote to Jim. and since I have got down hear I have had a poor chance to write. Well Mollie I am in good health at preasant we are in camp at Jeffersonville near the Rail Road Depot I supose we will remain hear until we are asigned / to a company and I dont know how long that will be We are seeing tolerbel good times hear we get plenty to eat and dont have much duty to do so we are doing very well I have recieved two months pay 40 dollars and I did not get it before I wanted it either.
 
I have not heard from the Regt for some time the last I heard from them they was camped in the city of Atlanta I dont know whether they are there now or not I have not heard from Mose & John Thompson for some time
 
Well Mollie I believe I have wrote all / for the preasant Give my love to all the folks at home and elsewhere I remain your tru friend and well wisher yours respectfully
