Dear Sister
I recieved your kind and very welcome letter several days ago and have neglected answering until the preasant time.
Your letter found me enjoying very good health.
The Boys hear of your acuaintance are all well I believe. I have not seen Henry Shaffer for several days for I have not had time to go over to his co.
I have not had a letter for several days I suppose my friends are all dead.
Well Mollie I have nothing in the way of news to write you at preasant as there is nothing new going on at preasant.
The weather hear is fine at preasant. But the sand blows so that it is putting out every bodies eyes. There is more sore eyes hear than any place I ever saw before.
Well Mollie when you write give me all the noose news going and tell me how Father come to loose his hay and who he sold to &c &c
Give my love to all the folks at home and else where I remain as ever your Brother
