Sarah W. Adams
Sarah W. Adams (maiden name: Walton) was born around 1797 in North Carolina. She married Peter Adams on October 19, 1816, and they had at least two children: John, born around 1820; and William, born around 1824. They eventually moved to Tennessee and then to Texas. Her husband died sometime before 1870. By 1870, she was living in her son John’s household in Bexar County, Texas. The 1880 census enumerator listed her as "infirm." She moved to Tustin, California, in the early 1880s, and she died there on October 22, 1882.
