Miss Guadelupe McDonald
San Antonio Texas
Dear Lupe
Last week I was not in Uvalde. I came to town after night on Saturday evening and did not receive your card untill Sunday morning. I then went to Mrs P's expecting to see you but only to learn you had left the night before I am truly sorry I missed seeing you and I do assure you that it would have afforded me a great pleasure to have served you in any manner that would have contributed to your pleasure or benefit While in Uvalde I learn that you had but poor encouragement in getting a music class here. We have here so many music teachers that I could not hope for your success unless / from experience the people here learned to appreciate your worth as an educator
I hope you may find a situation that will be profitable and pleasant and at some time you I do hope I may be able to serve you. Give my love to your Aunt I often think of the times I have spent with her and your Mother
With my best wishes for your success in all your undertakings
I Remain
Your Obt Servt
