R. F. Luckett
R. F. Luckett was probably living in Texas by the early 1860s. He enlisted in the Confederate army, and he mustered in as a private in Company C of the 9th Texas Infantry. The regiment took part in the Battle of Shiloh, the Battle of Perryville, and the Battle of Stones River. He was promoted to adjutant in May 1862. He died at Stones River on December 31, 1862.
