Wilmington Febry 4th 67
Dear Uncle Joseph
not Hearing from you or any one out there thought I would write to you we are all well but we have had the coldest weather this winter we have had for many year it has been freezing since Christmas and snow on the ground all the time I am very anxious to know if you received that package if you dont feel like writing tell Wilbur and tell him I am waiting for an answer to my last letter I sent forty two dollars by Express in December / you have not answered me Uncle Harmon has been sick this winter and has lost his hearing entirely Henrys family still live in the same house they did when you was here Business is very dull and mone is very scarce and hard to get hold of. there is a great many men out of employment this winter and that makes times hard John Smith Talley just started home from here with his new wife and I suppose he will be over about Piasa to show his knew wife to you old Brandywine Hundred folks Please answer and tell me if you recd the money / Give my love to all the boys and all friends
