My Dear I receivd your kind note last mail & I red it with grate care & I set down to answer it. it has been a long time since you & I last parted as to your kind wish I will come over & see you & hav a nice time I left my last place that I hired & I could not pleas the man that I worked for he is an Irish I will tell you about it when I go out to see you & I hav hired with an other man I am going up to Greenville & I wish that you was hear to go along with me I dont now but I will go up to [?] citty Nancy I will be out to your house the time that you spoke of & then we will hav a talk you must excuse this short letter for I am in a big hury I closs bidding you Good by & wish you mutch happiness your friend
