Dear Cousin Jeny
                        I received your very kind letter in due time & perused its contents with the greatest of pleasure. I feel as tho I had a great apology to make you for not writing but Cous if you onley knew how buisy I hav been cince I came home either going some whare or having Companey untill I would bee compledley tired out & then I would not feel like writing. I hav thought of you most evry day & my plesant / visit with you & I regret very much that I havnot bin able to write you before I was very much disapointed in not seeing your Mother & Father when they was out—I donot think they made a visit. we looked for you & Si out while we hav bin having such plesant weather I think I could of don some riding around with you I had some very plesant rides that plesant weather, but donot expect to take maney more this fall. I with maney other young folks ar invited to a Thanksgiving Diner on St Clare a short distanc from Collamer I will go if able & pleasant I would feel quite comfortable if it was not for my cough that is about so so I had an / invitation to Cousin Jeny Marshalls weding the 9th of last month Uncle Marshall & wife & Alex & wife & I was all to go down togather so Father took me to town the day before it was very plesant when we left home, but the wind rose & blew quite hard so I took quite a hard cold & coughed all knight, so I gave up going. I got home as soon as possable. it came very near finishing my time in this world, but I hav got over it with kind care of a Mother & feel quite like geting well now
 
Wm McKinley called here 6 weeks ago, right from California on his way home he left Brother Roberts in Sep he requested him to call & see us. he said R had a / nice farm near a right smart vilage & R is pleading law & they liv near colage & P[?] is to graduate next spring he said Florance is as tall as I & is to graduate soon
Dec 9th Jeny we had companey soon after I commenced this & I havnot had time to write aney cinc. I went down beond Collamer to a Thanksgiving Diner there was about 30 their & I enjoyed it very much—
 
Father is butchering to day & it is snowing & blowing very much like winter—Cousin Will Conden was marid 2 weeks ago. Brother Wm & Blairs is all well. Mother & Father health is very good & they both join me in love to you all com out & make us a visit. pleas overlook all mistakes & write soon & give us all the knews how is Henry Talor
