Ira D. Colburn,

Dear Sir,
I enclosed the recommend you ask for, and hope it will be of service to you, was only glad to give it.

Was pleased to hear of your having the oppertunity of attending college and availed your self of it and got along nicely. Hope you find it convenient to attend another year.

Yes we are all well, of course, some of us have a slight attack of La grippe / now and then. Have you had it or did you escape?

Do you know any thing of Walter Brown. He run off and left his family, and has not been heard of since.

If you know any thing of him let me know.
