Estella Chandler
Ethella Chandler (maiden name: Regnier) was born around 1827 in Ohio. She married Albert Chandler on March 6, 1848, and their daughter Jessie was born around 1851. They lived in Adams, Ohio, and her husband worked as a grocer. They moved to Lowell, Ohio, in the 1850s, and by 1860, they owned $2,000 of real estate and $800 of personal property. A decade later, their wealth had grown to $17,000 of real estate and $2,000 of personal property. Her husband died on December 23, 1888. She applied for a widow’s pension in January 1889 and eventually received one. By 1900, she was living with relatives in Belpre, Ohio. She died there on January 13, 1912.
