I thought I would wright another sheet for it dont cost any more and I must look out for that but I have not paid out a cent yet except for paper and wrapers and that ant much I dont no but I shall have to buy a pare of pants but not as long as I can get Unkle orren wife to mend my old ones / She has mended them once all up nice I tore them yeasterday again but she says fetch them on she will mend them I offerd to pay her for it but she would not take it She sayd if her boy was up there she should want you to mend his pants I told her you would as quick as any body O I forgot to tell you what I see last Monday when I was drawing stone there was a man died in the armey he was a captain from this place and / they brought him home to bury him and I saw the posesion go by there was over 100 teames all in a string besids over 110 horseman all dresst in uniforme went a head and a band of music playing the death march and it look solemn I tell you Mother you say Isac Finch is dead that is offal It seames to me I never had any thing strike me down / like that I thought a grate deal of Ike but if he is only prepaird to die he is better off Mother you sed you hope you would not hear such news about me but dont borry trouble for I shant die till my time comes how do you do wallace how do you do walter how ware you luce good eveng harriet and Cora
