C. M. Hartwick
C. M. Hartwick worked as a clerk for the United States government during the Civil War. By 1864, he was working for the War Department. He supported the Epiphany Church General Hospital. In July 1862, he presided over a flag raising ceremony at the hospital, and a local writer observed that his “labors are indefatigable in this institution.”
