Caroline Adelia Fuller
Caroline Adelia Fuller was born around 1846, probably in Michigan, to Ebenezer and Parmelia Fuller. Her father was a farmer who owned $2,000 of real estate and $500 of personal property in 1860. She grew up and attended school in Strongsville, Ohio. She married Newell J. Fuller in Cuyahoga County, Ohio, on March 20, 1870, and they had at least four children: Eliza, born around 1873; Albert, born around 1875; Cordelia, born around 1877; and Laura, born around 1881.

The couple settled in Berea, Ohio, and her husband worked as an engineer and carpenter. They owned $100 of real estate in 1870. They purchased a house in 1874 and remained there for the rest of their lives. They headed a multi-generational household, opening their home to their adult children and grandchildren throughout the early 1900s. By 1930, their house was valued at $5,000, and they owned a radio. They celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on March 20, 1930, and newspapers throughout the state celebrated the occasion. Her husband died on August 1, 1937, and she followed on February 23, 1938.
