Worcester Feb 18th 1879
Dear little Ida my little house keeper how do you get along do you wash up the dishes & do you get to school in time if you do not you must ask the teacher to excuse your tardy marks. do you & Geo get enough to eat &c. you must take down the clothes & take care of them as I told you & you must not forget to water the plants. have Mrs Howard or Hattie come over & help or Geo can get Aunt Mary if he cannot get along of course I shall / worry about you. you must go to bed early so you can get up early. Geo did you go to Northbridg to day if you did not you must for you will not have flower enough but you can get [?] to let you have some things when a letter comes from Fred send it to me.
 
I do not know when I shall come home but as soon as I can Grace will come with me when I come    be good children & do as well as you can

Dear Ida you do not know what Addie has got she has got a little boy baby & she has named it George Ferdinand aint it splended & I am agoing to stay a while & help her take care of it & when school is done you & Geo can come out & get me & we will take Grace home with us so Addie will not have to much to do Geo the baby was born this morning at 25 minutes past three oclock he is nicely now. now be good children untill I write send Freds letter & write to good by Mother
