My Dear Mother
it is with grate pleasure for me to set down to day for to inform you of my health which is middle ling good at the present time being, and I am in hope that these few lines will find you all enjoying good health and taking all the comfort of life in smoking your pipe &c But in regard to comfort there ant any to be found in this show because comfort ant found a tall in the army a tall But I receive your letter dated Sept 6 the other and was very glad to here from you my dear mother and to find that you was well I am very glad to hear that you have use the money because it will dew you good and the house from leaking and keep you dry mother and I shall be very glad to have those things that you spoke of in your letter because I stand need of them very much because I ant draw any for some time from the government you tell Eliza that I should be very proud of her things when I get them all together But I should like to been at moderration at the ounion meeting that you spoke of in your letter /
But I must come to a close by bidding you all good by for this time But be shure and give my love to all acquiring friend But But be shure and take the most of it to yourself my dear mother O mother by the way I had a B[?] that is blueberry to eat to day But they taste natury mother But be shure and write to me as quick as you get this because I want to here from you very much Mother But tell Mrs Cole that Sam is well at present and smart all the time But Good By Mother
